What I hate about being part of the Fullmetal Alchemist fandom.

Spoilers. Though I think everyone knows this. )

It's just such a depressing thing to deal with three times!

I have 2 Dreamwidth invite codes, if anyone wants. Let me know.

Swing last night? AMAZING. OHMAGAWD. My foot? OW, THOUGH. More on Swing later.

I found this really amazing thing that needs to be checked out. It's a bunch of random, disconnected youtube videos that you have to play all at the same time. It's brilliant. Here's the link. It's magical, really.

GOING SWING DANCING.

BBL.
They opened up a Forever 21 store in our mall just recently, so Carly and I headed over to do some shopping. Hours later, we are home, and because I've yet to unpack my purchases, the yellow 'Forever 21' bag is lying on my bed, so that I can see that on the bottom of the bag is printed the following:

John 3:16

I ran into Carly's room to check her bag, and her has the same on it. I looked it up on the internet and it's a bible verse! I'm not going to quote it because I'm not religious and it's not my place to quote the bible on my livejournal. But this sort of weirded me out. Well, really weirded me out. So I called up customer service to ask what that was about.

They told me that Forever 21 is a privately owned company, and that it was deliberate, and the owners have been printing the bible quote on their bags for some time now. I just... had no idea what a bible quote thing is doing on the bottom of my shopping bag. I don't know how I feel about that. Do they only expect bible-following Christians to shop at their stores?

To clarify: I'm Jewish, but I'm not religious and I don't believe in god. I'm not too fond of any religions, and this whole bible-verse-on-my-bag as a subtle hint that I should convert isn't really giving me much reason to like this religion in particular. No offense, but if I wanted to turn to god, it's my own damn business. Don't put it on my labels.

Ohmygod, I love this whole freaking show.

Thank god I was forced to watch Arrested Development, thus falling into new obsession. Oh boy.

My English class is frustrating me.

BUT I JUST DISCOVERED SOMETHING HYSTERICAL IN IT.

"I'M NOT SHORT! I JUST LIVE IN A BIG WORLD, GODDAMNIT!"

Could somebody put that on a t-shirt for my birthday or something?
Emma, Keleki and I had a Kiss of the Spider Woman sing-a-long.

Everything is amazing!!! Everything worked out. I couldn't be happier than I am right now.

I met with her, and she was so HAPPY about what I was telling her on my behalf, and she was proud of me and EXCITED for what I'm going to bring in the future of the department. She's happy, I'M happy, and EVERYTHING IS AMAZING AND PERFECT AND HAPPY AND GOOD. AHH THANK THE WORLD.

(I'm special and CAN do that. hehehe...)

I've been spending the afternoons out on my porch, because it's so warm and beautiful. Click the pictures for larger (and please do, especially that first one. larger has really neat details).
